Narrative:
A helicopter was doing an instrument approach to a hospital near dal field. I coordinated with dal tower for the approach and cleared the helicopter. It turned out the RNAV fix he was going to was below the 2400 MVA around downtown dallas. The problem was that the the fixes and approach course are not on any maps that we have and I assumed dal tower knew were the final was. When dal tower realized this they turned the helicopter out of MVA and the helicopter canceled IFR. Recommendation: a separate map that has these approaches on it.

Title: D10 Controller voiced concern regarding the lack of video maps available for a GPS approach procedure to a local hospital; noting a recent example of a possible MVA infraction because of confusion regarding course information.
