Narrative:
As the flm I was plugged in monitoring the position; however I was having a conversation with another controller. When I looked at the scope I noticed that one of our aircraft was in the center's airspace and had not been handed off. I asked the controller if we were having automation problems. The controller stated that we were not and that they forgot to make the hand off. The controller immediately initiated a manual hand off by calling the center and the automated hand off was also initiated. The only recommendation I would have is to increase awareness.
