Narrative:
Departing sfo flight on runway 10R with dumbarton six departure lin transition; winds out of the south at 11 KTS. Climbing through 1000 ft autopilot kicked off in IMC weather. Turned approximately 20 degrees left of course. Heading 070 degrees. I told first officer to correct back to the right to pickup the sfo 090 degree radial when norcal departure called asking if we were flying the dumbarton six departure. I stated we were flying the 090 degree radial off of sfo norcal preceded to give us direct lin VOR and continued the climb out in heavy rain showers till 7000 ft into VMC weather. Remainder of flight uneventful.
