Narrative:
Given clearance to taxi from ramp to runway 1. Taxiway did not parallel runway and there were several intxns before the runway. The runway was poorly marked (faded paint) and we taxied across approach end of runway onto the taxiway to runway 5. We realized our error after crossing and informed ground we would like to continue on to runway 5 for departure. Both runway 1 and 5 were active. Supplemental information from acn 86797: confusion on identify of runway led to breakdown in flight crew coordination was also contributing.

Title: ACR LTT CROSSED ACTIVE WITHOUT CLRNC.
Narrative: GIVEN CLRNC TO TAXI FROM RAMP TO RWY 1. TXWY DID NOT PARALLEL RWY AND THERE WERE SEVERAL INTXNS BEFORE THE RWY. THE RWY WAS POORLY MARKED (FADED PAINT) AND WE TAXIED ACROSS APCH END OF RWY ONTO THE TXWY TO RWY 5. WE REALIZED OUR ERROR AFTER XING AND INFORMED GND WE WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE ON TO RWY 5 FOR DEP. BOTH RWY 1 AND 5 WERE ACTIVE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 86797: CONFUSION ON IDENT OF RWY LED TO BREAKDOWN IN FLT CREW COORD WAS ALSO CONTRIBUTING.
