Narrative:
At 160 miles to ZZZ at FL380 we had an ECAM message 'green hyd res low pressure.' we followed the ECAM procedure along with the manual gear extension checklist. We declared an emergency and landed. Later we were towed to the gate and deplaned.

Title: A320 pilot reports ECAM message 'Green Hyd Res low pressure' at FL380 approaching top of descent. An emergency is declared and after manual gear extension and normal landing; aircraft is towed to the gate.
