Narrative:
Jobcard requires removal of aft electronic bay (e-bay) floor boards and displacing insulation for corrosion inspection under the water separators. The aircraft arrived without insulation around frame 27. The problem is this aircraft did not have any insulation installed. I did the inspection and signed off the card that I did [in fact] remove and reinstalled the insulation. After work I started to think about avionics operating parameters operating outside normal ranges and the adverse effects on these systems [that it] could have. Really think the insulation needs to be installed immediately.after serious consideration; I feel that this insulation needs to be in place. I am submitting this report to correct this situation.

Title: A Mechanic reports he signed off a Jobcard for the removal and reinstallation of insulation under the aft electronic bay floorboards around frame 27 of an A320. Aircraft however; had arrived without any insulation installed. Concerned about the lack of insulation causing adverse temperatures in Avionics compartment; Mechanic files report to have insulation installed.
