Narrative:
On approach to teb runway 06 at 2;000 ft; we were cleared for approach ; cross dandy at 1;500 ft. Captain stated he would fly glide slope from 2;000 ft. The glide slope crosses dandy above 1;500 ft. ATC informed us we were at dandy above 1;500 ft. One factor involved was we use efb's and just before the approach they both started to simultaneously go to full bright and would do this repeatedly making it hard to see with the glare. So since it was VMC and we had the approach set up we blacked the screens for the approach. If I had the approach plate visible I would have noticed the altitude of the glide slope crossing height at dandy. This was also the captain's home area and I assumed that he was familiar with the procedure and therefore wasn't as vigilant as I should have been.

Title: P180 First Officer reports not complying with crossing restriction at DANDY during the ILS Runway 6 approach to TEB. Problems with EFB brightness control during the approach are cited.
