Narrative:
After landing on runway 26L at cyvr I started a right turn onto taxiway D2 because we are parked at temporary parking on the north side of the runway. The controller told us to make a left turn at echo taxiway as I started the right turn. We informed him that we had temporary parking on an apron which is on the north side of the runway. He said ok but now we were on a taxiway not stressed for our weight. We could not and still can not find anywhere on our charts any limitation for a 300;000 pound aircraft on that taxiway. I called airport operations to ask them where such info could be found and they said cap which apparently stands for 'canadian air pilot'. I looked this up on line and all I could find was a chart labeled 'not for navigation' that did say weight limit for D2 is 100;000 lbs. The chart was labeled to expire june of 2006; my chart is effective feb 11 2010. As a side note I asked ATC if they wanted me to call the tower on the land line and they said no that this was not an ATC thing but rather an airport operations thing.

Title: A B757-200 Captain reported taxiing on CYVR Taxiway Echo and being informed by Ground Control that it was not stressed for his aircraft's weight. Reporter states that the weight limitation is not indicated on navigation charts.
