Narrative:
On final approach flaps 30 to runway xx; the le transit light flickered. I noticed the amber box flashing around the digital airspeed indicator and the flashing 'a' on the MCP speed window. We verified flap handle agreed with flap indicator. I lowered the HUD and saw the 'picnic bench' approaching the flight path symbol. I initiated a go-around and the stick shaker activated until power was applied and airspeed increased. Landed flaps 15. There was no flashing amber box and flashing 'a' with the flap 15 landing.
