Narrative:

There are currently no less than four pratt whitney pw-2000 diffuser modules that are 'physically separated' from their next higher assemblies; (the core or intermediate case); having from just under 5;000 hours to close to 12;000 hours total time since last module inspections; that per company reference; must be inspected to the serviceability inspection limits specified in the module or piece part inspection document from engineering. I became aware recently that the area exposed by removing the diffuser module; the front of the diffuser module; specifically the number four bearing front seal support; were known to be in an unservicable condition per company's [own] reference. In order to cut costs; air carrier management had instigated a policy of intentionally not off-logging the diffuser modules from their respective intermediate case modules in order to create the illusion that they were not physically separated.

Title: An Engine Inspector reports his carrier has recently initiated a policy that does not allow for any record entry of their PW-2000 engine Intermediate Case Modules being 'Physically separated'; including four Diffuser Modules already separated. The Diffuser section includes the # 4 Bearing and Air Seals that are exposed and worked without any documentation.
