Narrative:
Today I received a threat from the chief pilot's office that if I continue calling in fatigued I will have to look for another job. I called in fatigued on successive days. Today I had to talk to the chief pilot and he proceeded to remind me that last week I had two fatigued calls and if I continue to do that I will have to look for another job. This was a direct threat by a representative of the company pressuring me in the future to accept a flight while I am fatigued; or otherwise my job will be in jeopardy. I am a professional pilot; and I will never disregard the safety of the flight over my job. However; I feel that I am under the microscope from the company. If I inadvertently break a company policy in the future; the company may pursue my termination at that time for the offense; hiding the real reason for my termination of calling fatigued. I believe threats against a pilot can induce a hostile environment in the workplace. My rational mind tells me that it was just one person taking; but at the same time this job is my livelihood. I am concerned for my future.
