Narrative:
Took off enroute to mia....aircraft had been in maintenance earlier for sps computer problem. Aircraft was empty...... When ice protection pneumatic was tested; a wing ai fail caution was received. After discussion with maintenance control and dispatch; we diverted for repair. Weather enroute prevented us from continuing to miami and returning to departure airport.

Title: EMB145 Captain on a repositioning flight discovered inoperative wing anti-ice and elected to divert to a suitable alternate.
Narrative: Took off enroute to MIA....aircraft had been in maintenance earlier for SPS computer problem. Aircraft was empty...... When ice protection pneumatic was tested; A WING AI FAIL caution was received. After discussion with Maintenance Control and Dispatch; we diverted for repair. Weather enroute prevented us from continuing to Miami and returning to departure airport.
