Narrative:
Air carrier XXXX and air carrier xxyx were both on the frequency. I gave the lead aircraft; air carrier XXXX; a clearance to cross krena at 1000 MSL at 300kts. I then meant to give air carrier xxyx the same crossing but accidentally gave air carrier XXXX the same clearance. After I shipped both aircraft to C90 I saw the air carrier xxyx had not descended. I then called C90 to apologize and they said not to worry that it was ok. One should be careful of similar sounding call signs and also catch the hear back/read back.

Title: A controller failed to issued crossing restriction to an arrival. It was alleged that the same company's similar flight numbers contributed to a failed hear back discipline causing the event.
