Narrative:
I was cleared to taxi westbound on taxiway nb to runway 15L. The an air carrier aircraft was southbound on taxiway np. Ground advised that the other aircraft would wait for me to pass through the intersection. After I entered the intersection of taxiways nb and np; I noticed that the aircraft was also proceeding into the intersection. I applied a large amount of power to get through the intersection and avoided a collision.
