Narrative:
After practicing landings on a grass strip I returned to the departure airport. Upon landing on its hard surface I was a little fast on touchdown and the oversize turf tires grabbed faster than anticipated. The plane turned to the left and I did not have enough rudder control to straighten the plane out and was too slow on the brake. The plane swung around to the left and the large turf tires grabbed the pavement and bent the landing gear. On exiting the runway the gear collapsed and caused a prop strike. Having flown this light; single seat plane; for only 2.8 hours and most landings on turf left me a little unprepared for hard surface landings. I have contacted an instructor for more tail wheel instruction.
