Narrative:

We were on a visual approach and were over flying the field for landing. On downwind; I lowered the landing gear handle and after landing gear extension; the green nose gear lights failed to illuminate. [The first officer] continued to fly the aircraft as well as handle communications as I read and complied with the with the landing gear will not extend checklist. As time permitted; I went back to our passengers and explained the situation to them and told them that all indications were that the nose gear bulbs were burnt out but we needed to follow the checklist procedures before landing. The landing was normal. After landing; the bulbs did not illuminate on the rotary test.
