Narrative:
A new maintenance release was sent to the aircraft. After the aircraft doors were secured and the jetway pulled away; the captain looked at the maintenance release and noted that the maintenance action of replacing the zone temp controller was not on it. The captain had the jetway returned to the aircraft and called for the pilot on special assignment. Once he arrived in the cockpit; the captain asked him why the refusal with the replacement fix was not on the log. He made a phone call to confirm that the maintenance was documented. He gave the captain this information which documented the fix to the refusal. Aircraft data display: due to fwd cabin difficult to control. Rpl zone temperature controler. Replaced zone temperature control ler. Operations normal () amm reference 21. Parts: none needed insp.
