Narrative:
Wheel not turning light illuminated shortly after takeoff roll was established and power set to takeoff power. Aircraft accelerated to approximately 45 KTS and abort was accomplished. Inquiry to tower confirmed no visible aircraft abnormality. Aircraft movement felt normal and taxi to gate for maintenance action was accomplished as per QRH direction. During maintenance action; the mechanic discovered both wheel transducer pins missing from the #4 wheel.

Title: A MD80 number 4 wheel antiskid transducers were not installed causing a WHEEL NOT TURNING light to illuminated at the beginning of the takeoff roll. The takeoff was aborted.
Narrative: WHEEL NOT TURNING light illuminated shortly after takeoff roll was established and power set to takeoff power. Aircraft accelerated to approximately 45 KTS and abort was accomplished. Inquiry to Tower confirmed no visible aircraft abnormality. Aircraft movement felt normal and taxi to gate for maintenance action was accomplished as per QRH direction.
