Narrative:
Informed of incident involving a damaged center thrust reverser idg service access door when aircraft landed at ZZZ. I offer you the following statement: I serviced both engine idg's; opening and closing idg service panels. I serviced # 2 engine idg and notice a new door with new paint and hardware. I know I opened and closed the door securely and with ease. I remember this because when I closed the # 1 engine access door it was very tight and not as easy to close. This seemed unusual that the # 2 engine had no spring tension and had a different center bracket. I really did not notice if it had new seals; but the door seemed to have differences.

Title: A Line Mechanic was informed of a B777-200 with a damaged lower center thrust reverser IDG service access door on the #2 engine. The damaged panel was found upon arrival in ZZZ with the forward hinge torn-off. Mechanic had serviced the IDG on an overnight check prior to departure.
