Narrative:
Aircraft dispatched with single pack. During cruise at FL350; left pack temp and left pack off alert messages appeared followed shortly by cabin crew reporting smoke in cabin along with a strong burning smell in cockpit. Accomplished appropriate checklists; declared an emergency; and diverted. Did not land overweight.
