Narrative:
While on final approach to runway 29 into oak on a four mile final; our airplane got hit with a powerful green laser. Myself and the first officer (pilot flying) noticed that a green light illuminated the flight deck. After noticing the light we all turned to find the source of the light which happened to be a powerful green laser pointed at our aircraft. We looked away and reported it to the tower; then continued our approach with no further consequences and a safe landing. It happened because people have nothing better to do other than to play with lasers and point them at landing aircraft.
