Narrative:
I was not informed that we had armed individuals onboard the aircraft until after we arrived at our destination. The first officer was also an ffdo (federal flight deck officer). All information is passed through the flight attendants. The gate agents do not communicate with the captain. All safety and security issues should be communicated through the captain and the captain only. He can then inform the rest of the crew.
