Narrative:
Aircraft was handed off and frequency changed to ZBW gdm sector 14 mi from the boundary. Aircraft was deviating around WX and subsequently penetrated a corner of bos approach airspace, west/O a point out. Gdm sector felt bdl approach should have pointed the aircraft out to bos, while bdl approach felt gdm sector should have since they had been working the aircraft for 14 mi.

Title: SYSTEM DEVIATION OCCURRED WHEN SMT ALLOWED TO ENTER APCH CTL AIRSPACE WITHOUT POINTOUT OR HANDOFF.
Narrative: ACFT WAS HANDED OFF AND FREQ CHANGED TO ZBW GDM SECTOR 14 MI FROM THE BOUNDARY. ACFT WAS DEVIATING AROUND WX AND SUBSEQUENTLY PENETRATED A CORNER OF BOS APCH AIRSPACE, W/O A POINT OUT. GDM SECTOR FELT BDL APCH SHOULD HAVE POINTED THE ACFT OUT TO BOS, WHILE BDL APCH FELT GDM SECTOR SHOULD HAVE SINCE THEY HAD BEEN WORKING THE ACFT FOR 14 MI.
