Narrative:
While setting up for arrival we received a left and right inbd brk fail cas (left and right inboard brake failure message from the crew alerting system). I ran the accompanying checklist; and we determined that we would be landing with only the emergency brake. We decided to divert to a more suitable airport and declared an emergency with ATC.upon landing we complied with the checklist to use the emergency brake to stop the aircraft. After slowly and gently pulling the emergency brake; the aircraft pulled to the left of the center-line and came to a stop. We performed an emergency evacuation through the main cabin door; and witnessed no smoke or fire. We noticed the left main gear tires were blown.
