En route from hpn to stl with aircraft owner on board. Climbing through about 30000', at which point the #1 engine failed. There were no indications the engine was about to fail. Normal engine out procedures were followed and an uneventful landing made at phl. Supplemental information from acn 91062: at no time was an emergency declared nor was priority handling requested.

Narrative: ENRTE FROM HPN TO STL WITH ACFT OWNER ON BOARD. CLBING THROUGH ABOUT 30000', AT WHICH POINT THE #1 ENG FAILED. THERE WERE NO INDICATIONS THE ENG WAS ABOUT TO FAIL.
