Narrative:
My student and I were doing maneuvers in the north practice area. We just finished recovering from a stall. Power was set to cruise and I was critiquing my student. About 30 - 40 seconds after cruise; engine lost power. Couldn't maintain altitude so I landed the plane in a field.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A C152's engine failed to develop power after a student pilot initiated a practice stall recovery. The instructor pilot took control of the aircraft and made a successful off airport landing in field.
