Narrative:
Due to thunderstorms unable to contact ZMA 10 mins prior putar boundary point between havana center and ZMA. Havana center cleared us via flight plan. Passing putar got hold of ZMA. They didn't know we were coming because landlines between havana and ZMA were down. There were no close calls, but could have because of many arwys around nassau. I might have been lulled into not holding at putar and contacting ZMA by being cleared as filed by havana. ZMA very helpful, but concerned because of many arwys in this area.

Title: COORD BETWEEN ARTCC QUESTIONABLE WX CONDITIONS MAY HAVE BEEN A FACTOR.
Narrative: DUE TO TSTMS UNABLE TO CONTACT ZMA 10 MINS PRIOR PUTAR BOUNDARY POINT BTWN HAVANA CENTER AND ZMA. HAVANA CENTER CLRED US VIA FLT PLAN. PASSING PUTAR GOT HOLD OF ZMA. THEY DIDN'T KNOW WE WERE COMING BECAUSE LANDLINES BTWN HAVANA AND ZMA WERE DOWN. THERE WERE NO CLOSE CALLS, BUT COULD HAVE BECAUSE OF MANY ARWYS AROUND NASSAU. I MIGHT HAVE BEEN LULLED INTO NOT HOLDING AT PUTAR AND CONTACTING ZMA BY BEING CLRED AS FILED BY HAVANA. ZMA VERY HELPFUL, BUT CONCERNED BECAUSE OF MANY ARWYS IN THIS AREA.
