Narrative:

The taxiway signs on the edges of taxiway a are incorrect. From the terminal apron to the taxiway the signs are located on the other side of the taxiway. A sign in that position should be marked with a black background indicating that the taxiway is before the sign. Instead these taxiway signs are marked with a yellow background giving pilots the idea that the taxiway is coming up. The next area to 'come up' is runway 23. I believe these signs being incorrectly marked may lead to excessive runway incursions. The signs need to be replaced with new ones that have a black background. There are two signs that I am aware of that fall under this problem. The signs need to be replaced with new signs that have a black background.
