Narrative:
Aircraft were deviating for WX. An aircraft diverted my attention to the south part of the sector asking for WX avoidance routing. That required extensive coordination with adjacent facs. The manual controller and myself were on landlines, coordinating this routing and other things. I looked back up to the 2 aircraft involved and descended the inbound. My attention was diverted back to the aircraft requesting routing. When I looked up on my next scan of the scope I realized what happened. I took action to push the descending aircraft down faster since when I saw it, the descending aircraft was already below the en route aircraft. At this time sep was lost.
