Narrative:
Aircraft was in landing pattern. After about 20 minutes and 2 or 3 touch and go's; aircraft was coming in for another. Winds were 360/4 landing runway 22. Nose was cocked to the right. Just prior to touchdown; pilot put in left rudder to straighten the aircraft. It is possible that too much rudder was applied and the aircraft veered to the left. Pilot put in full power to go around and rudder to straighten aircraft. Aircraft did not respond to rudder and went off side of runway into the grass and onto the parking apron of the FBO. Pilot pulled power to idle; straightened aircraft and applied brakes. Aircraft stopped about 100 ft short of parked aircraft on ramp. Pilot has extensive military flight time and experience in flight attendant-18 and T-45C model aircraft; but very limited civilian flight time.
