Re the aom emergency/abnormal procedure 'single-engine go-around/engine failure on go-around.' new step 9 should be added as follows: 'bus tie...closed.' current step 12 gives the pilot the option of referring to 'engine failure or precautionary shutdown' or 'single-engine approach and landing' checklist. If the latter checklist is chosen; the bus tie is never selected closed. This will result in the failed engine side electrical bus receiving power from only the battery and not from the cross side generator. Cessna and/or the training center should rewrite the checklist correctly.

Title: A C-680 Captain notes that the engine fail procedure in the AOM fails to include a step to ensure that the dead engine electrical bus is powered by the operating engine generator via the Bus Tie switch.
