Narrative:
After cleared for visual approach runway 4 gsp; the captain descended to 3;000. There was a tower in our area at 2;539 and that caused our egpws to go off. We missed the tower and ATC asked if we were ok. We landed without incident. We both should have been more vigilant as to the terrain.
