Narrative:

Aircraft X was scheduled to have tail rotor hub and blade assembly removed for time and have serviceable unit installed. Having all necessary paperwork we thought; but at the time never received an stc (supplemental type certificate) compliance or FAA 337 form paperwork to change the greased hub to elastomeric hub; which would have had instructions for installing tail skid counterweight. No weights or paperwork were included with tail rotor assembly to be installed.this problem with the elastomeric hub will not be an issue again in this region; as we all are aware about needing an FAA 337 form and an stc to go from greased hub to elastomeric and adding tail skid counterweight.the solution I feel to help others would be to have all paperwork sent with all tail rotors; when removal and installation is required; including the FAA 337 forms and stcs to make mechanics aware of changes that need to be complied with.

Title: A Technician reports he removed a Greased Tail Rotor Hub and Blade Assembly for Time and installed a serviceable Elastomeric Hub Assembly on a Bell-206 helicopter. He was later informed the Hub assembly did not have a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) and FAA Form 337 included in the paperwork. A tail skid dampner counterweight was also missing.
