Narrative:
Landed on 34L and cleared the runway at juliet. We were cleared to cross both center and right runways and contact ground. It was night time and the temp was 2 degrees C; [ground was] wet. I was taxiing at about 25-27 KTS clearing 34R at J when an airbus filled my field of view coming south on B. I put on the brakes and felt the plane intermittently skidding. We stopped about a half plane length from the airbus. I was probably taxiing a little too fast given the conditions but was chagrined that ATC gave no heads up or warning. There was no sequence instruction or cautionary instruction from ATC. Called the tower after gate arrival to notify them of how close we came to colliding. They seemed to think it wasn't that close.
