Narrative:

We were taxiing to runway 10C. Instructed to taxi via east; we taxied south on east and turned left onto west. I followed the green centerline lights past the point at which I should have turned left onto an unnamed taxiway leading to the runway 10C threshold. When I saw the signs and hold bar for runway 10R I knew I had gone too far and started to turn around. At this point ATC queried us as to why we were turning left onto a taxiway; and he cancelled our takeoff clearance. We were re-cleared for takeoff and the flight continued without incident. This intersection should be more clearly marked. The green taxi lights should have split off to lead to both 10R and 10C.
