Narrative:

CFI left seat, private pilot approximately 200 hours in right seat flying plane. At approximately 8-10' AGL beginning to round out, aircraft settled slightly in 5-8 KT shifting crosswind. Airspeed was 65 mph, well above stall in the small aircraft. Private pilot interpreted slight sink as onset of a stall and responded by vigorously pushing full forward on yoke west/O adding power. CFI took control as plane bounced on both main gear and propeller. CFI added power and flew approximately 2500' down the runway then landed straight ahead. After landing, left main gear collapsed. Propeller was discovered bent from approximately 8 blade strikes on runway--after shutdown. No other damage discovered--just propeller and left gear. Pushover by right seat pilot was so forceful that I doubt it could have been stopped unless CFI was already holding back-pressure on controls.

Title: WHILE LNDG SMA, PLT NOSED ACFT INTO GROUND.

Narrative: CFI LEFT SEAT, PVT PLT APPROX 200 HRS IN RIGHT SEAT FLYING PLANE. AT APPROX 8-10' AGL BEGINNING TO ROUND OUT, ACFT SETTLED SLIGHTLY IN 5-8 KT SHIFTING XWIND. AIRSPD WAS 65 MPH, WELL ABOVE STALL IN THE SMA. PVT PLT INTERPRETED SLIGHT SINK AS ONSET OF A STALL AND RESPONDED BY VIGOROUSLY PUSHING FULL FORWARD ON YOKE W/O ADDING PWR. CFI TOOK CTL AS PLANE BOUNCED ON BOTH MAIN GEAR AND PROP. CFI ADDED PWR AND FLEW APPROX 2500' DOWN THE RWY THEN LANDED STRAIGHT AHEAD. AFTER LNDG, LEFT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED. PROP WAS DISCOVERED BENT FROM APPROX 8 BLADE STRIKES ON RWY--AFTER SHUTDOWN. NO OTHER DAMAGE DISCOVERED--JUST PROP AND LEFT GEAR. PUSHOVER BY RIGHT SEAT PLT WAS SO FORCEFUL THAT I DOUBT IT COULD HAVE BEEN STOPPED UNLESS CFI WAS ALREADY HOLDING BACK-PRESSURE ON CONTROLS.
