Narrative:
In cruise at FL330; [we] received an ECAM message of forward cargo door. Requested and received a descent clearance to 10;000 ft; and performed a rapid descent to that altitude. Cabin pressure was normal throughout descent; made a normal landing at destination. Maintenance reported a switch failure on the forward cargo door.

Title: A319 Captain experiences a FWD CARGO DOOR warning at FL330 and requests immediate descent to 10;000 FT. Flight lands safely at destination airport where maintenance discovers a faulty sensor.
