Narrative:
On glide slope cleared for approach when flaps 2 selected flight control flaps fault on ECAM. Recycled flap handle per ECAM. Fault remained [and we] discontinued approach. Requested vectors [and] climbed to 7;000 ft. Switched pilot flying/pilot not flying. QRH landing with slats or flaps jammed completed. Placed flap handle to 3 per QRH for full slats; applied airspeed additive and landing length correction for flaps one (or less) full slat approach and landing. [We] declared emergency with ATC; contacted destination operations; maintenance and dispatch. Passed test info to flight attendants and had them prepare cabin for normal landing. Spoke to passengers switched pilot flying/pilot not flying. Requested vectors long straight in ILS final xx. [We made an] uneventful approach and landing [then] taxied to gate in flap/slat configuration.
