Narrative:
Captain and first officer were on flight deck completing preflight duties prior to passenger boarding. Avionics smoke ECAM displayed accompanied by strong electrical/burning smell - no smoke observed. Accomplished QRH; immediate action/ECAM procedure. Strong electrical/burning smell continued - captain requested fire equipment from ground control. No passengers were on board. Had flight crew and station personnel leave aircraft and proceed to terminal. Captain powered down all electric systems and left aircraft.

Title: An A320 Captain reported an AVIONICS SMOKE ECAM with strong electrical burning smell while parked at the gate before boarding. The aircraft is powered down and ARFF was summoned.
