Narrative:
Our company mechanics in ZZZ discovered that one of the nose tires was installed incorrectly after it was replaced by [contract maintenance] mechanics in ZZZ1. The [contract maintenance] mechanic installed the tire with the chine [flared sidewall] facing inboard. This was not discovered by the mechanic's supervisor either.my captain and I did not notice the incorrect installation during our preflight inspection and flew to ZZZ2. No abnormal indication noticed on takeoff or landing. We then flew another leg to ZZZ; where our mechanic discovered it. Again; no abnormal indication noticed on takeoff or landing. We (the flight crew) were notified the following day of the situation by the director of maintenance (dom). Makes sure nose tires are installed with the chine facing outward. Double and triple check.
