The flight crews' march 2011 inbound log write-up stated that non-skid material was applied to the floor beneath the rudder pedals on both sides; (captain's and first officer's); and that they thought this was not only an incorrect application but also a safety issue.

Title: A Line Mechanic reported an inbound flight crew log write-up stating non-skid material had been applied on the cockpit floor under the Captain's and First Officer's rudder pedals. The non-skid material was interfering with the pilot's shoe heels ability to slide with rudder pedal input.
Narrative: The flight crews' March 2011 inbound log write-up stated that non-skid material was applied to the floor beneath the rudder pedals on both sides; (Captain's and First Officer's); and that they thought this was not only an incorrect application but also a safety issue.
