Narrative:
While preparing for a flight from to pafa; I downloaded the wrong flight plan into the FMS. Our [commercial dispatch provider] had sent a hard copy of the flight plan with a warning that they had mistakenly uploaded two flight plans. I did not see the warning. Both flight plans downloaded simultaneously and I choose the first that downloaded. The wrong flight plan had a slightly different course over canadian airspace. The canadian ATC asked us where we were heading and then told us that was not our clearance. They gave us the proper clearance and asked us if we had received another clearance prior. We said no; but after investigating the problem we found both downloaded flight plans stored in the FMS data link message page. We also found the warning from [the commercial dispatch provider]. We explained what happened to the canadian ATC. The proper flight plan had one less way point and therefore was very noticeable.

Title: A G550 flight crew failed to note that two FMS routings had downloaded for their flight. They had activated the wrong one. The error was corrected when ATC advised of a track deviation from their cleared route.
