Narrative:

After landing on runway 32; we were cleared to taxi via north; C; C1; and told to contact the ramp. We took C and believed it took us straight ahead to C1. In fact; there is a jog in taxiway C just prior to taxiway V that we missed. I believe the signage indicating this jog is not adequate as we missed it during night operating conditions. As a result; we entered the ramp at taxiway V1 by mistake.

Title: An air carrier flight crew on Taxiway C at PIT airport transitioned to Taxiway V1 after crossing Taxiway T and entered the ramp because the pilot failed to see jog right to remain on Taxiway C as opposed to the jog left that entered V1.
