Narrative:
After landing in fat on runway 29R; we were instructed by tower to turn left at B6; cross runway 29L and contact ground. No further instructions were issued from tower. We complied; and as we were clearing 29L on B6 I flipped the switch to ground and contacted ground; stating we were clearing at B6. Ground immediately responded with; 'king air #####; look out!' just then; a king air came in to view on our right; taxiing southeast on taxiway B. We would have collided; but we hit the brakes hard and the king air swerved to his right and passed in front of us. As he passed us; ground instructed us to 'give way to the king air; taxi to parking'; which I acknowledged and we complied. The main cause was my failure to see the king air on taxiway B. He was on my side of the airplane; but I did not see him. The angle at which B6 and B intersect is such that it was difficult to see taxiway B to our right. I might have gotten a better look at the taxiway as we were crossing runway 29L and were situated more perpendicular to the taxiway; but my focus was on clearing the runway for our crossing. Also; given the time of day; the sun was in that direction and made it harder to see. Secondarily; ATC failed to call out the traffic to us. We were on tower frequency during the runway crossing and were never made aware of the traffic. By the time we switched to ground as we cleared the left runway; the conflict was already underway.
