Followed QRH checklist for antiskid malfunction and diverted to ZZZ. Declared emergency; advised dispatch; briefed flight attendants on test items and ran emergency landing checklist. Briefed approach and landed uneventfully. Used full reverse and did not touch brakes until less than 80 knots. Aircraft was taken out of service. Flight attendants were debriefed following the incident and new aircraft was obtained. Flight then continued without further incident. First officer did excellent job of doing all checklists and advising me on items missed or not covered thoroughly.
