Narrative:
This was a normal approach and landing to 13C in mdw. But; I thought I'd talk about our landing. The weather was 600'/2 SM and light rain. The runway was wet with no standing pools of water. The rollout was normal with good braking action for the first two thirds of the runway. We felt some degradation in the braking during the last 1000'. We exited the runway onto taxiway K and had a normal taxi to the gate. We were asked to hold out of the ramp as it had just closed due to thunderstorms approaching the field. I gave a field condition report and called the last 1000' as wet-fair. I contacted dispatch and gave them the same information.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A B737-700 Flight Crew reported that braking action on Runway 13C at MDW deteriorated in the last thousand feet due to wet conditions over the rubber deposits left be landing aircraft.
