Narrative:
On a B757-200 aircraft; while working cabin door inspection job card 52-19-00; [I noticed] out of six pin sets; I found two which had been shaved to make their insertion easier; this of course renders them useless. This has been brought to the attention of management several times in the past; with no permanent solution.

Title: An aircraft Inspector reports finding two out of six main cabin Door Emergency Assist Bottle safety pins shaved [modified]; rendering them useless. The safety pins are installed to prevent inadvertent discharge of the Door Assist bottle during maintenance on their B757-200 aircraft.
