Narrative:
First officer was flying eagul arrival runway 8 into phx. We got wake turbulence from aircraft ahead. Correcting for the wake distracted us and we descended below the 9;000 ft restriction. Corrected back to 9;000 ft. Asked ATC if altitude was a problem and he said no.

Title: An A320 Captain reported encountering wake turbulence on a PHX arrival resulting in an altitude deviation.
Narrative: First Officer was flying EAGUL arrival Runway 8 into PHX. We got wake turbulence from aircraft ahead. Correcting for the wake distracted us and we descended below the 9;000 FT restriction. Corrected back to 9;000 FT. Asked ATC if altitude was a problem and he said no.
