Narrative:
I had turned on to the lead in line and the lead was marshaling me into the gate. While well into the process a white truck with yellow doors drove between the aircraft and the marshaller. While I did not have to slam on the brakes to avoid the truck it was an unsafe condition. Driver [was] not paying attention to ramp conditions. We need to instill a greater sense of safety awareness to the ramp workers.
