Narrative:

The ride was starting to get a little rough descending on the downwind. The approach was completely stable on final during our visual approach to 18R. Somewhere between 500 ft AGL and minimums both of us noticed the airspeed dropping. When it dropped below reference and my first officer began pushing up the power more; I called 'go around' just as the aircraft announced 'wind shear'. We performed the escape maneuver and ATC vectored us back around for 18C.
